Claude Hays became the Manager of Georgetown Title in 1970, and purchased the company from James Rehler in 1975. The Hays family became only the third family to own the company and its predecessor, the Guarantee Abstract Company since 1893.

A graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in business, Mr. Hays also holds a degree in law from the University of Texas. He brings 35 years of title industry experience to the company along with years of community involvement in the Austin and Williamson County area.

Mr. Hays has been recognized for outstanding economic achievement by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Georgetown Healthcare System Board of Directors. He and his wife Barabara make their home in Georgetown.

Mike Cumberland joined Georgetown Title in 1993 as Vice President and Branch Manager of the Round Rock office. 

His experience in the title industry began in 1985 with Stewart Title Company where he served as Vice President and Branch Manager in San Antonio and El Paso, Texas.

Mike currently serves on the Board of Directors for Georgetown Title, Longhorn Title Company, and Title Manufacturers, Inc. He is a 1985 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He is married and has two children.

David Hays brings 20 years of title industry experience, as well as extensive knowledge of the area, to Georgetown Title. His roots are in this area.

David graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown with a BBA in business and economics and served as a County Commissioner in Williamson County from 1992-2004.

His service to various programs and projects includes serving on the Board of Trustees of the Seton Willimanson Foundation, as a YMCA board member and as a director of the Williamson County Conservation Foundation. He and his wife Tammy have four children and make their home in Georgetown.

Connie Holt, Vice President and Plant Manager: Connie joined Georgetown Title in 1979 as a title examiner. Her career in the title business began in 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Connie has also worked for Stewart Title Company in Dallas and Irving Texas, and Minnesota Title Company in Conroe Texas. She and her husband, Thurman, two children and grandchildren all live in Georgetown.

Laura Wolf , Vice President and Escrow Officer: Laura ‘s title career began in 1971 with Georgetown Title. She has more than 30 years of closing experience in residential and commercial transactions. Today she serves as Office Manager for our home office in Georgetown. Laura has two children, both of whom are graduates of Texas A&M University.

Lori Higgins, Business Development: Lori joined Georgetown Title in 2005 with responsibility for business development in our Round Rock Office. Her previous title experience includes positions with Brazos County Abstract in College Station, Texas and Commonwealth Title in Houston, Texas. A 2007 graduate of Leadership Roundrock, she, her husband and three children have lived in Georgetown since 1993.
